Cheragh Ali Yazdani, born in Bamyan, Afghanistan, is a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) candidate based in Oklahoma. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Economics from Luther College, and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Oklahoma.
Mr. Yazdani provides mental health therapy at Optum Advanced Therapy Associates of Oklahoma to individuals from diverse backgrounds, drawing on his rich educational background and personal experiences. His commitment to helping others is deeply rooted in his own journey as a former refugee. This personal experience drives his work as a Community Navigator with the Spero Project in Oklahoma City, where he assists refugees with their resettlement in the United States.
With a strong passion for supporting refugee communities and a background in mental health, Cheragh is enthusiastic about joining Cornerstone as a Dari Interventionist, where he aims to make a meaningful impact.
