Imam Usama Baqai is a dynamic and spiritually grounded leader with a deep commitment to Islamic scholarship, community service, and personal mentorship. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Temple University, he went on to pursue six years of advanced Islamic studies at the Islamic University of Madinah, where he completed a degree in Shariah. He also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Islamic Chaplaincy under the scholars of Masjid Nabawi. He later continued his studies in Malaysia, where he earned a Master’s degree in Islamic Finance from INCEIF University.

Imam Baqai is known for his sincere and hands-on dedication to serving Muslim communities. He currently serves at an Islamic center in the Northeast, where he is especially passionate about supporting families, mentoring youth, and helping build strong, faith-centered communities. His work often focuses on family dynamics, youth development, and addressing shifts in religious engagement and identity in a way that is both grounded in Islamic tradition and responsive to real-life challenges.

As a father of two young boys, he brings both personal insight and pastoral care to the challenges facing Muslim families today. With a warm, approachable presence and a strong ability to connect across generations, Imam Baqai offers guidance rooted in scholarship, compassion, and real-world understanding.
