Aida Zeleke is a graduate student in Northwestern University's Master in Public Health program with a passion for global health and development. She is committed to strengthening public health and healthcare systems with a focus on bridging health disparities. She aspires to dedicate her career towards enhancing infrastructure around social determinants of health and expanding access to primary healthcare, including behavioral health. Her belief in the importance of community-designed, socioeconomically and culturally appropriate solutions for sustainable change directs her efforts toward equity, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration. Thus, she has cultivated her technical skills in research, community engagement, social policy, and program design and management to support this work. She is also certified as a QPR Gatekeeper Instructor for suicide prevention training. Aida initially joined Cornerstone as an intern in Spring 2024 and now serves as the Dari/Pashto Team Lead for Cornerstone's 2024-2025 project with the International Rescue Committee.
