Cornerstone provides intervention services in multiple languages to refugees living in the United States.
We understand the physical, mental, and emotional implications that come from having to leave your home country.
We are here to help.
We are also able to help connect you to other resources that you may need for resettlement.
We are proud to work with several refugee agencies who make our Refugee Integration Intervention efforts possible, including the International Rescue Committee, Hearts & Homes, New Neighbors Partnership, Refugee Assistance Partners, One World, One Love, FAMIL, PC-CARE, and Honor the Promise.

Partnership with the IRC
Cornerstone began our national partnership with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in February 2023. This partnership began as a humanitarian effort to provide support to recently resettled Afghan and Ukrainian refugees through in-person and online emotional resilience programs and intervention sessions. Led by our Dari, Pashto, Russian, and Ukrainian speaking interventionists, these language specific programs have made an incredible impact on the clients we serve.
This year, we are proud to announce that we are not only continuing but expanding our partnership with the IRC too. We now provide our services in Burmese, Spanish, and Swahili in addition to our current services in Arabic, Dari/Farsi, Pashto, Russian and Ukrainian. Each language-specific interventionist will deliver 4 on-site presentations at different sites across the country in addition to providing over 500 intervention sessions across all languages.
Cornerstone will also be providing full-day staff training at each of the 24 IRC sites across the US. After every training session, our team will also arrange a virtual follow-up session with IRC staff members and provide a published training manual guiding staff through our Cornerstone Collectivist Method for Refugee Emotional Wellness Intervention.

Partnership with IRUSA
Cornerstone is also pleased to share that we are the recipients of another domestic grant from Islamic Relief USA which will allow us to provide mini-emotional resilience training workshops to smaller refugee service aid organizations. Working across 18 different sites, our team will train at least 20 staffers/volunteers at each site for a total of 360 aid providers trained in our method of intervention by the end of the grant cycle.
