Dr. Farooq Bandali holds a Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Texas at Austin. After working four years as a pharmacist, he completed two years of pharmacy residency specializing in critical care. After that, for 9+ years, he served in a dual position as an Assistant Professor and Critical Care Clinical Pharmacist at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and Saint Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. Presently, he is an Associate Scientific Director at Takeda Oncology within the Leukemia Division. He is also the co-founder of Taqwa Media, a book publishing distribution company that promotes spiritual education in families. He has authored a textbook chapter and several articles and has lectured on numerous pharmacy-related topics nationally and internationally. He has presented on several emotional and mental wellness topics, such as Addiction in the Muslim Community. At Cornerstone, Dr. Bandali is a Swahili Presenter & Interventionist.
