Mohammad Masroor Mahmoodi graduated from medical school in Afghanistan in 2006 and has since collaborated with numerous national and international organizations, specializing in SUDs treatment and prevention, co-occurring disorders, gender-based violence (GBV), child protection, and HIV/AIDS programs. As a Senior Treatment and Training Coordinator with the Colombo Plan, he trained professionals in SUDs prevention, treatment, and co-occurring disorders across Afghanistan. He also served as a master trainer on WHO-funded projects focused on GBV and HIV prevention.

In addition, Mohammad worked as an M&E and DDR Manager with WADAN, where he oversaw SUDs treatment projects, and later as a national consultant with UNODC, conducting research on the training needs of SUDs and mental health professionals. After relocating to the United States as an SIV, he began his career as an Autism Behavioral Therapist (ABT), providing therapy to autistic clients, while also managing shifts at Walgreens and pursuing his MRI certification.

Mohammad joins Cornerstone as a Dari and Pashto Interventionist and Presenter.
