Shaima Ramin completed her MS in education from DeSales University and her BS in Computer and Information Science from Brooklyn College. As a multilingual speaker with fifteen years of teaching experience, she is passionate about education and leadership and was nominated as one of the top teachers by the New York State Association of Teacher Educators. Shaima previously worked as a Senior Curriculum Development Advisor to promote STEM learning. Shaima currently serves as Executive Director of ShayaanAcademy.com which is an accredited American learning institution for individuals who are interested in learning a new language within a cultural context. As Executive Director, she oversees staff, curriculum development, and public relations to foster academic success. Shaima is currently a Unification Specialist II and Case Manager at The Providence Group as a point of contact for Department of State/ORR tasks. At CWU Inc. McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, Shaima facilitated resettlement efforts and cultural orientation for Afghan evacuees under Operation Allies Welcome. Shaima is a Dari and Farsi Interventionist and Presenter.
