Sobia Pervez graduated from Kean University with a BA in Psychology. After graduation, she worked full-time at Noor-ul-Iman school as an assistant teacher for 3rd and 4th grade. After working there for several years, she worked part-time at the Islamic Society of Central Jersey. Following that position, she worked full-time for a Muslim Adult Day Care Center. Currently, she volunteers in the community by conducting an all-girls halaqa and helps run the middle school youth group for the Islamic Society of Central Jersey. Along with being a member of many committees, she has a passion for helping the youth and community in general and is employed by Cornerstone as an interventionist specializing in working with Urdu-speaking clients and refugees. Sobia has been with Cornerstone since 2018.
