Taham Khan is currently a  third year medical student at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, with an interest in Psychiatry, which he pursues through research. He holds a Bachelors in Exercise Science from Rutgers University. During his time as an undergraduate, he was heavily involved in leading Muslim community initiatives and helped facilitate many events with the hopes of sustaining a strong  faith-based presence on campus. While engaging with the community as an undergraduate, he noticed a pressing need for Muslim youth mental health services, and through this experience found his passion in pursuing the study of Psychiatry.
