Wendy Diaz holds a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages and Linguistics with a concentration in Spanish Education from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She is currently completing a Master of Arts in Religious Studies from Chicago Theological Seminary. Wendy is an experienced writer, editor, translator, educator, award-winning poet, and accomplished author with a passion for parenting and children’s educational topics. With over twenty years of experience in print and digital media, Wendy has showcased versatility and expertise across a wide range of topics, including cultural representation, identity, family, health, history, linguistic diversity, and religious tolerance. Wendy also serves as the lead Spanish Content Coordinator for the Islamic Circle of North America. She is passionate about engaging with people from diverse backgrounds and aspires to contribute her skills to the betterment of the community, drawing from her Puerto Rican heritage and her experiences in language and cultural exchange. Wendy is joining Cornerstone as a Spanish Interventionist.
